Diagnostic Medical Physicist

Radcom Associates is a diagnostic and medical nuclear physics consulting company seeking a junior level medical physicist. The successful applicant will have an M.S. in medical physics from an accredited program and be eligible to obtain at least a temporary license to practice diagnostic and medical nuclear medical physics in Texas. Board eligibility is mandatory for consideration. The physicist will work with a dynamic consulting group and support staff to provide consulting services in medical and nuclear imaging. The primary responsibilities include: performance evaluation and acceptance testing of imaging equipment; shielding design; quarterly audits of nuclear medicine departments; and active involvement in our clients radiation protection programs including Radiation Safety Officer support. The ideal candidate will have several years of clinical experience and exposure to various aspects of quality assurance and radiation safety.

It is essential that the applicant have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently. Regional travel is required.

Salary will be commensurate with training and experience (within expectations described above) and includes benefits such as health insurance, paid vacation, and an optional IRA.

The Dallas area metroplex is located in a warm climate, has outstanding school districts, as well as a multitude of cultural and recreational activities.
